To demonstrate sufficient understanding of vectors, you will need to be able to:
Use vectors in two and three dimensions;
Calculate the magnitude and direction of a vector convert between component form and magnitude/direction form;
Add vectors diagrammatically and perform algebraic operations of vector addition and multiplication of scalars and understand their geometric interpretations;
Understand and use position vectors including being able to calculate the distance between two points represented by position vectors;
Use vectors to solve problems in pure mathematics and in context, including forces and kinematics.
